Biography: |
| | Gloria was born and educated in Saskatchewan. Art courses were not offered in the schools that she attended so her art was left undeveloped until later years. she moved to British Columbia as a young adult and her career and family life took her in directions other than art. She did oil painting for about four years in the late 1970’s, but it was not until 1994 that she started taking her art seriously. She has been painting full time since 1995, and now uses watercolors, acrylics and pastels, as well as oils. Watercolor remains her medium of choice at present. Gloria obtained her AFCA Associate Signature Status in the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2008. |
